Sales Assistant

We are looking for a highly knowledgeable and proactive Sales Assistant to work in one of our high end fine wine shops.

The successful candidate will be passionate about wine and will have a can-do attitude demonstrated through exceptional customer service, great communication with their line manager and a proactive approach to day-to-day tasks.

WSET Level 3 qualification and previous retail experience are desirable but not essential. We also expect a very good working knowledge of spirits and beer.

What we offer:

Assistant Manager

We are looking for a highly knowledgeable and proactive Assistant Manager to work in one of our high-end fine wine shops.

Previous experience managing people is essential.

Sales Support & Customer Service Administrator

Sales Support/Customer Service Administrator – 3 Month FT Contract

Role Purpose:

To support the Office Manager and wider business. Providing customer service and working closely with internal sales teams and third-party logistics providers to ensure orders are processed and the correct product is delivered to the correct location in a timely manner. Work with other internal departments to resolve any operational matters. Develop a good rapport with the customers to help build the relationship.

Role Scope:

The role is primarily operational focussing on ensuring the business achieves high standards of customer service levels and satisfaction during the busy Christmas period. Ensuring the correct processes, procedures and attitudes are followed to enable a seamless process from customer order to delivery.

Specific operational responsibility is for delivery, maintaining the relationship with LCB and other service providers (particularly couriers), customer services to include data management, CRM and order taking and well as ensuring that the office environment is suitable for a business of Jeroboams brand quality.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Process all daily orders in an accurately and timely manner.
  • Pro-actively maintain a positive relationship with customers and sales team.
  • Answering phones, dealing with customer issues, and progressing solutions.
  • Helpdesk maintenance to include allocation and escalation of queries.
  • Website helpdesk to include allocation and escalation of enquires.
  • Assist in the administration services to Private Clients to include payments through Worldpay.
  • Vine to facilitate the movements of stock into and out of storage.
  • Process credit notes.
  • Co-ordinating LCB and courier deliveries.
  • Communicating logistics issues to customers and internal teams, proactively seeking solutions.
  • Directing urgent orders to internal stockholding if LCB unable to facilitate.
  • Co-ordinate gifting process with shop-based teams.
