Waterford Lakfield 1.1. is the first release from the 2016 harvest at Lakefield farm where farmer Seamus Duggan consistently produces barley of exceptional quality. Made entirely from Irish 'Irina' malted barley which has been grown on Duggan's Co. Laois farm, this whisky has been aged for over 3 years and 7 months in multiple cask types including first-fill, virgin US and French oak.
A rich texture with a long and gentle finish. Notes of baking bread, chocolate, warm custard, rhubarb and apple tart, and clove, this whicky is complex and fruity.
