An excellent dram from Glenfarclas, showcasing their trademark use of sherry casks. A bit less intense the 15 Year Old, the 21 Year Old is still thick, intense and excellent value for money. Dark amber-gold. Intense, full of aromas - sherried fruit, tropical fruit, nutmeg and almonds with slight citrus notes at the end, all held together with a vanilla-sweet smokiness. Full bodied, rich and rounded, it develops slowly into something fruity, smoky and spicy. Long-lasting, smooth and smoky with a chocolate feel at the back of your throat.
