Tasting notes
Pur Noir is a slection of one to two barrels from plots of 100 year old vines. Very dense colour, with black cherries, raspberry, dark chocolate and pink peppercorn. Well balanced palate, with liquorice and pepper. Very powerful without bei ng overwhelming. Svelte tannins and a long finish. Impressive.

The 2022 Cornas Vin Noir dazzles with glossy red and black fruits alongside crushed violets, cedar and leafy gradations. Smooth tannins create a seamless mouthfeel with absolutely no rough edges. Concentrated and exuberant, this is shaping up to be a wonderful Cornas with secure aging potential.

The round 2022 Cornas Vin Noir offers ripe black fruit, subtle spice, dried meat and discreet cedar tones. Medium-bodied and muscular, it’s more structured than the entry-level Cornas, with intense, savory notes and a persistent finish.
