The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has a gorgeous and very pure bouquet with dark cherries, cassis, crushed violet and peony unfolding in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannins, fleshy and ripe with a sweet finish that needs just a tad more backbone and grip. Maybe that will develop after racking?
