The explodes from the glass with enticing aromas of wild berries, black cherry, raspberry and fresh, floral notes. The palate exhibits wonderful tension weaving opulent dark fruit with tart layers of rhubarb and cranberry. Plush yet thrillingly vital, this is both hedonistic and contemplative.
Our thoughts
The Pinot Hill vineyard was the second site purchased by legendary vintner Brice Cutrer Jones, to add to the original Hallberg Ranch site. In the coolest part of the region, this is a more savoury style of Pinot Noir and an exceptional wine.
