2016 Chambolle Musigny, 1er Cru Les Fuees, Domaine Odoul-Coquard (6 x Bottle)
The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées, whose vines are located close to those of Felletig, has a more complex bouquet compared to the Les Sentiers, with blackberry, raspberry, undergrowth and light iodine aromas that gather momentum in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannin, well-judged acidity, very harmonious and quite sensual in the mouth with a dash of allspice toward the finish. It does not possess enormous length, but I appreciate the refinement here.
