Vina Fray Leon

Fray León is named after the greatest Lyrical Poet in the Spanish language, Fray Luis de León, who was born in the 16th century in Granada. The company specialises in great value single varietal wines made at their state of the art winery in Isla de Maipo. The winemaker, Jorge Martinez, studied at Talca University before travelling to Bordeaux and California to further his education. The Alameda wines offer great varietal character, mouth-watering fruit and enough structure to make them interesting. These wines are a perfect demonstration of why Chile is making such giant strides in the export markets.
