Thorn Clark
Founded in 1987 by David Clark and his wife Cheryl (née Thorn), a fifth generation vigneron, Thorn Clark use only estate grown fruit from their four vineyards in the Barossa and Eden valleys. Environmentally conscious, they ‘farm’ rainwater here and have a plant for recycling winery waste water. Their son Sam is gradually taking over the reins at this high quality estate. The Cabernet is classic Barossa, dense black fruit overlaid with spicy oak and mocha, whilst the Riesling is an intensely refreshing mix of lime and mineral flavours.
