Terrazas de los Andes
Founded by Moet Hennessy in 1996 in the premises of a 19th century winery in Luja de Cuyo, Terrazas de los Andes owns 8 separate vineyards at various altitudes from 980m to 1250m and has vines dating back to 1929. For Argentina this is a small scale winery and only premium wines are produced, with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Torrontes varietals, alongside some exceptional single vineyard bottlings. Cheval des Andes is produced in partnership with Cheval-Blanc and is perhaps Argentina’s greatest wine.
