This estate in the coastal Maremma region extends to 300 hectares, with arable crops, olive trees, a herd of cattle and 12 hectares of vineyards. Pepi Lignana produces local DOC wines from Sangiovese and Vermentino as well as a Cabernet IGT. The Poggio Colombi vineyard is on higher ground and ideally suited to Cabernet, which he blends with 10% Petit Verdot. The wine is aged in one year old barrel for 10 months and is both voluptuous and structured.
