Duca di Salaparuta
Founded in 1824 by Guiseppe Allianta, Duke of Salaparuta, by 1890 this was Italy’s leading exporter of wine. The Corvo brand became one of the country’s best known and in 1959 the family sold the estate to the Sicilian region. 5 years ago it was bought by Di Saronno who have invested heavily in new facilities. The estate consists of three properties, including the oldest producer of Marsala and concentrate on high quality wines from indigenous varieties.
