Domaines Ott
Founded in the late 19th century, the three properties that make up domaines Ott are today run by Christian and Jean-François Ott, although they were purchased by Louis Roederer in 2004. Clos Mireille sits by the sea in the far south of the appellation, not far from Toulon and has 50 hectares of vines. Château de Selle has 70 hectares of vines, was the first property acquired by Marcel Ott and is inland near Draguignan, whilst Château Romassin consists of 74 hectares in Bandol. Rosé is made at all three properties, and these are some of the best and most sought after in Provence, whilst fine red is made in Bandol and at de Selle and an excellent and unusual white, made from Semillon, comes from Mireille.
