Domaine Reverdy Ducroux

Domaine Reverdy Ducroux was founded in the 16th century and is now in the hands of the 14th generation Reverdy, Alain. He harvests 50 different plots throughout Sancerre which are vinified separately in the domaine’s new gravity flow winery. The vineyards are sustainably managed with only organic fertilizer (cow manure) used and weeding carried out through ploughing and hoeing rather than spraying. Les Caillottes comes from 25-year-old vines on Terre Blanche soils in a south-west facing plot at 240m altitude.
