Domaine Pierre Gaillard

Over the past 30 years, Pierre Gaillard has become a leading light in the Northern Rhône, both with his domaine wines and as part of the Vins de Vienne micro-négociant business. He purchased his first vineyard in St. Joseph in 1981, and now owns 16 hectares spread across 6 appellations. The Côtes du Rhône Blanc is a barrel fermented Viognier that is regularly racked and aged on the lees. Creamy, rich and highly complex, this could pass for Condrieu of twice the price.
