Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret
This historic domaine is now run by the eighth generation of the family, Vincent Mongeard. The estate comprises 23 hectares spread over 28 different classified vineyards. The wines here spend 15-18 months in oak, around 35% new each vintage, and are bottled unfiltered. Mongeard-Mugneret owns nearly half of the Les Orveaux Premier Cru and produce a wine of silky texture and deceptive power from it.
