Domaine Marc Morey

The Domaine Marc Morey’s 8.5 hectares are run by his daughter and son-in-law Bernard Mollard. In his early years in charge, Bernard’s winemaking was reliable and steady, without being exceptional. Over the last decade or so, the wines from here have found an extra dimension, with real concentration and minerality showing through. Still in a flattering style, these are much more serious wines that can improve significantly with age. The Chassagne is just reaching its peak now, with ripe citrus fruits, a mealy oak character and great length.
