Domaine Flache Sornay
Domaine Flache Sornay is a long-established family domaine which has been run by Vincent and Corinne Flache since 2001. There are 10 hectares of vineyards, of which eight are in Morgon. Their vines are all on south-facing slopes and the average age of the vines is 45 years with a plot dating back to 1926. Lutte raisonnée is practiced in the vineyards, with only organic fertilisers used and grass grown between the rows. The hand harvested grapes are vatted, and the must spends a relatively long 15 days on the skins before being transferred to oak foudres for 10 months of maturation. This is a mineral rich wine with hints of spice and great depth of fruit.
