Domaine du Vieux Parc

Louis Panis is the 5th generation of his family to run this château and has been at the helm with his wife, Claudine, since 1987. Their son, Guillaume, a trained oenologist, joined them in 2005 and has added more technical knowledge and youthful enthusiasm to the team! There are 60 hectares under vine here, with the usual traditional varieties rubbing shoulders with Merlot, Cabernet, Viognier and Vermentino. A new cellar and vat house were constructed 10 years ago and the quality here just keeps improving. The Corbières is rich and brambly, whilst ‘L’Alouette’ has the elegance of Bordeaux allied to real ripeness of fruit. The white is a new addition to our list and has Louis Panis gorgeous peachy fruit.
