Domaine de la Mordoree

Domaine de la Mordoree is a 50-hectare domaine, located in Tavel but spread over eight communes, which was created in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son Christophe, and is recognised as one of the premier league of Rhône producers. Following Christophe’s untimely death in 2015, today the estate is run by Christophe’s wife Madeleine and their daughter Ambre. The whole estate is certified organic and is farmed following biodynamic principles. Whilst the Châteauneufs are admirable, it is in Lirac and Tavel where they make really exceptional wines, especially when price is taken into consideration.
