Domaine Blain Gagnard

Domaine Blain-Gagnard was formed when Jean-Marc Blain married Claudine Gagnard, they met whilst studying oenology at Dijon. Today they run the domaine with the assistance of their son, Marc-Antonin. There are a little over 8 hectares of vines including 3 Grand Crus, 4 Chassagne Premier Crus, 2 Volnay Premier Crus and communale land in Puligny, Chassagne and Volnay. With such a spread of vineyards, it is unsurprising that each wine is made in such small quantities. The whites are some of Chassagne’s finest, with richness and minerality.
