Domaine Armand Rousseau
One of the true great domaines with enviable landholdings, Armand Rousseau was a pioneer of domaine bottling in the 1930s and the domaine’s 15 hectares are currently run by his grandson Eric. Farming and winemaking are traditional, but with great attention to detail and this, coupled with the brilliance of their terroirs, results in some of the best, and most collectable, burgundy. The wines themselves have great purity and elegance, are highly evocative of their individual vineyards and improve in bottle over 10-20 years.
