Dom Perignon
Dom Pérignon is a prestige cuvée Champagne first made by the house of Moët et Chandon in the 1921 vintage and of which there have been 44 vintage releases up to the 2010. In the early days it was merely Moët’s own vintage blend given further ageing on the lees, but from the 1947 vintage it has been a completely separate cuvée made from only the finest vineyard sites. Quite subtle on release, it really shows its quality after another 5-10 years. A limited amount of a superb rosé has been made in 26 vintages since 1959.
