De Ladoucette

The Ladoucette family have been making wine in Pouilly for over 600 years, and at the Château du Nozay since the late 18th century. The 165 hectare estate produces 10% of all Pouilly-Fumé. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over the estate in 1972 aged only 21, and made significant investments in the property, whilst also buying some other fine vineyards in France, including a leading 36 hectare Sancerre estate christened Comte Lafond after an ancestor.
