Chateau Robin
Chateau Robin is a small property of only 4 hectares located in the small commune of Abzac. The property has been in the same family for three generations and is currently run by Claude Lassagne. The soils here are unusually sandy, providing good drainage and warmth for the vines. Planted to 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, the wine underwent a 3 week maceration and 6 months ageing in vat. The 2006 has a fresh and powerful nose and is full of ripe black fruits and plum jam flavours on the generous and supple palate.
