Chateau Providence
Château La Providence was a mediocre performer through most of the 20th century, before Christian Moueix became involved in 2002, immediately doing justice to the terroir. He bought the property outright in 2005 and renamed the wine Château Providence. The 4 hectares are enviably placed between Certan de May and the Pomerol church. After the 2012 vintage, they were absorbed into La Fleur Pétrus, but for 8 vintages a really classy Pomerol was made here, velvety and lush with suprising elegance.
