Chateau L’Evangile

This has long been one of Pomerols top estates, but since its acquisition by Domaines Baron de Rothschild of Lafite in 1990, it has pushed to an even higher level and now sits alongside Pétrus and Lafleur as the finest wines in the appellation. Bordering Pétrus to the north and Cheval Blanc to the south, there are 22 hectares planted 80% to Merlot and 20% to Cabernet Franc.
