Chateau Franc Mayne

This Grand cru Classé estate in St.-Émilion consists of 7 hectares of vineyards that are mostly planted to Merlot and occupy a fine terroir on the plateau. Ownership has changed hands four times in the last 40 years, with the current proprietors the Savare family. Quality has been varible since the 1980s, but has shown more consistency since the excellent 2009 release.
