Chateau du Coing
Purchased in 1973 by Bernard Chéreau, a local négociant, the Château du Coing is one of the most historic estates in Muscadet with a history dating back to the 15th Century. It is currently run by his daughter, Véronique, and the vineyard consists of three distinct soil types and totals 40 hectares. The Château de Coing cuvée comes from schist soils at the confluence of the Sèvre and Maine rivers and is a prime example of how Muscadet should taste.
