Chateau de Fonbel

Owned since 1971 by Alain Vauthier of Ausone, Fonbel is situated on the flatter land just below its more famous sibling. Whilst the terroir is not as auspicious, it is in the hands of one of the greatest winemaking teams in Bordeaux and the results are silky, balanced and superb value.
