Chateau Cantemerle

One of the prettiest estates in the Médoc, the 5th growth Cantemerle is unusual for the high proportion of Merlot in the vineyard at some 40%. The style here is for a very fragrant, supple and rich wine, which is regularly one of the best value Cru Classés. We have followed the second wine, Les Allées, for many vintages now, and it continues to offer real depth and complexity at an amazingly affordable price.
