Cellar de l’Era
Founded in 2002 in a 17th century farmhouse, this family owned winery on the right bank of the Arboli river has 12 hectares of vineyards planted mostly to Grenache and Carignan, with small amounts of Cabernet, Syrah and Merlot. The wines are made in a modern gravity flow winery and are certified organic. Unusually for Montsant, they have Licorella soils, which are more typical of neighbouring Priorat. The resulting wines have a finesse and minerality not common to the region.
