Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana

This is one of the oldest Sherry producers with it’s origins dating back to 1792. The company remains under the ownership of the same family to this day, with the sixth generation of the Hidalgo family now in charge. Traditional winemaking methods continue to be used, with the wines being aged in Amercian oak barrels, some of which pre-date the company! The vineyards are in Balbaina and Miraflores, both in the ‘Jerez Superior’ region.
