Azienda Agricola Viberti Giovanni

Founded in 1923, this 14 hectare vineyard is owned and run by Giovanni Viberti and his grandsons, Gianluca and Claudio. The majority of their vineyards are planted with Nebbiolo in Barolo, with small amounts of Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato and Chardonnay. The Langhe Nebbiolo undergoes a shorter maceration than the Barolos and is aged partly in tank and partly in oak foudres, giving a style of wine that is much more forgiving than Barolo, with quite soft tannins and plenty of power.
