The 2019 Barolo Ludo is a solid entry-level offering from Einaudi. Sweet cherry, tobacco, spice, menthol and dried flowers fill out the layers. The 2019 is an attractive, classically styled Barolo. I would like to have seen a bit more freshness. Another year or two should help the tannins soften.
