Old Perth is a fantastic small-batch release produced from five iconic single malts: Bunnahabhain, Glenrothes, Highland Park, Macallan and Tamdhu, all distilled in 1994. Stewed forest fruits on the nose, with touches of heather honey and old barrels. The palate features a fantastic combination of dusty spice, barley sugar, marmalade, candied almonds and a touch of wet bonfire. Brilliant balance between sweet, spice and savoury. It finishes with lots of malt and nut brittle, with a subtle meaty character complimenting the cigar box and gingerbread flavours. Superb malt.
