Yoichi Japanese Single Malt Whisky (6 x 70CL)
Featuring single malts of different ages produced at Nikka's Yoichi distillery, this is a peated whisky with fantastic balance. Showing mellow peat on the nose, there is a great interplay between smoke, candied citrus, delicate spices such as nutmeg and ginger, and an overtone of floral notes. The palate is intense, with the peat smoke coming in quite strong, a tranquil melon flavour brings together spice and chocolate flavours with a subtle salinity. Very silky and complex, Nikka Yoichi is a great whisky.
