Seductive nose of ripe black cherries, plums, black pepper, crushed stones and a touch of toasty oak spice. Impressive concentration and density on the palate, with lots of vigour. Dark fruits again, some spice and liquorice showing too, with a touch of black olive tapenade. Well balanced and delicious.

Vinous
The light- to medium-bodied 2021 Saint-Joseph was made with 5% whole-clusters. Sour cherry, red plum and raspberry emerge from the glass, complemented by leafy nuances as well as licorice. Smooth tannins caress the palate. Refreshing and balanced, this delicate Saint-Joseph finishes with moderate length on the bright finish.
