Azienda Agricola Ciabot Berton

The name Ciabot Berton stems from the small building (ciabot, in Piedmontese) found on the site, which belonged to a certain Berton, who, in an attempt to make his own fireworks, caused a fire. Even today, from the cellar you can see the ruins of the building after which the winery is named. The Berton family believe that it takes three essential ingredients to make a great wine: the grape, the soil and the touch of the winemaker.
