Produced in South London, Dispense Amaro from Asterley Bros. is based on a 17th century recipe from "The London Dispensatory" combined with their family's Sicilian amaro recipe. Made from a base of vermouth produced from British Pinot Noir grapes, this fantastic amaro contains 24 ingredients, including gentian, hops and wormwood. Lots of bitter orange, burnt sugar and rhubarb, followed by clove and dried bay leaf. Intensely bitter, but with a rich supporting sweetness.
