Anthony Girard started his winery after seizing a rare opportunity to purchase a small portion of first-class vineyards near the village of Récy (hence the name). Since then, he has been making a string irresistible Sauvignon showing off the incredible Loire terroir. This is a Sancerre with great power and lovely finesse

Vinous
The 2022 Sancerre brings together fruit from all three soil types around the area, including flint and the different clay limestones that exist here. It offers an appetizing texture and an attractive line of tension, perhaps from the flint portion of the blend. However, the flavors are simple – predominantly lemon, lime citrus with a riper, more tropical edge on the modest-length finish.
