A classic example of albarino with aromas of apricot, peach and pineapple with a salty mineral touch. It has a lively palate with decent weight and texture and a refreshingly long length.
Our thoughts
Being further from the Atlantic, this is the coolest and highest part of the DO and wines from here can have great power. La Trucha (Trout) is named for the fish winemaker José caught in the Miño as a child. This has more richness and texture than many Albariños, thanks to a few months on fine lees before bottling.
