The 2019 Vette di San Leonardo is a varietal Sauvignon Blanc that bursts from the glass with a gorgeous display of spiced lemon rinds, white spring florals and crushed stone minerality. This gains volume and depth over time, adding a sweetness that keeps you coming back for more. It’s remarkably pure and precise, with laser-like acidity and a tart citrus tension that offsets its pure and lifted character. Don’t expect to put this super-stimulating and energized Sauvignon in the cellar, because it’s firing on all cylinders already.
