Vinous
The 2018 Chablis Village comes from vines mainly on sandy and clay soils and is aged for 4 months on the lees. It has a light red apple and wax resin nose that would benefit from a little more intensity. The palate is balanced but primal and simple, touches of orange peel and pineapple emerging toward the finish. Just a little ordinary, to be frank.
