Vinous
The 2017 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Marconnets 1er Cru has more fruit intensity on the nose compared to the Les Fournaux, offering ample blackberry, briar and pressed flower aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a spicy, white pepper entry. Subtle hickory notes envelop the finish, which shows fine depth. There is real character to this Premier Cru, and a bit of gutsiness.
