The 2017 Rosso di Montalcino from Agostina Pieri is soft, pliant and ready to go. Sweet red cherry, mint, tobacco and dried herbs all grace this attractive Rosso. I would prefer to drink it over the next few years, as the flavors are already a bit forward. Even so, there is more than enough depth to support at least a handful of years in the cellar.
