2017 Morey St. Denis, Tres Girard, Domaine Drouhin-Laroze (Magnum)
The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Très Girard matures in 40% new oak and 99% whole bunches (they are very precise at Drouhin-Laroze.) I like the bouquet here: vibrant black fruit, touches of sous-bois and crushed stone. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp black fruit laced with pencil lead, the whole bunch quite vocal at the moment, though simpatico with the fruit. I would afford this two or three years in bottle.
