2017 Mercurey Rouge, Les Vignes de Maillonge, Domaine Michel Juillot (12 x Bottle)
Deep cherry red with a nose showing notes of raspberry, black cherry and spicy overtones from the subtle oak. Medium bodied with a lovely intensity, the palate shows good acid balance and fine moderate tannins. Ready to drink, this will develop more gamey notes over the next 3-4 years.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2017 Mercurey Les Vignes de Maillonge is showing well, wafting from the glass with aromas of strawberries, cherries, spices and rich soil tones. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, fleshy and melting, with an ampler, livelier core of fruit than Juillot’s regular Mercurey red.
