The 2016 Etna Bianco Contrada Blandano wafts up with a rich display of hazelnut, dried peaches and dusty yellow flowers. It’s soft in feel, sending a mix of apple and pear coasting along a core of brisk acids. This tapers off dry to a coating of inner florals and hints of almond, yet it leaves me craving more depth.
