Robert Parker Wine Advocate

A top-notch effort, Redortier’s 2015 Gigondas should drink well for up to a decade or more. Seductive notes of raspberries and cracked pepper mark the nose, while the full-bodied palate is rich and creamy without being overly fat or weighty. The overall balance and texture is special, wrapping up with a long, supple finish.

Vinous

Bright ruby. Intensely perfumed aromas of red and dark berries, sandalwood and lavender show excellent focus. Stains the palate with appealingly sweet raspberry and cherry flavors that become deeper and spread out slowly with air. Delivers a solid punch but comes off surprisingly graceful, closing with impressive, spicy persistence and sneaky tannins.
